How To Register
Simply complete the online registration form. To complete your registration you need to pay the registration fee. This can be mailed or paid using your credit card. This is a part of the Session Fee, and will be reflected as a payment toward your total fee. The registration fee is not refundable.

Scholarships
Scholarships available. A scholarship can provide up to half of the camper fee for Classic Camps and up to 25% for Sports Adventure Camps. You can download a scholarship application here. Scholarships are funded through the generous donatios of Phantom Ranch frends and supporters.
Discounts and Credits
- Large Family Discounts - For families who send more than two children from the same immediate family, there will be a $50.00 discount on your third and subsequent children. Please note that the full Registration Fee is required for all campers per session. This discount will be applied by the camp office staff. Other conditions apply.
- Pastor and Missionary - Campers whose parents are pastors, full-time missionaries, or full-time Christian Camp workers are granted a 50% discount on the Camper Fee of Classic Camps, and Horsemanship Camps. There is a 25% discount on the Camper Fee of PRO Trips. No other discounts apply when using this discount. In order to receive this discount, a letter describing the ministry affiliation on ministry letterhead must be submitted. We do not hold letters from year to year. Other conditions apply.
- Bring a Friend - Campers who bring a new friend to the session they attend will receive a $10.00 credit at the Canteen (camp store). Just refer someone who is a first-time attendee to the summer camp that you will attend at PRBC and this fabulous deal is yours. There is no limit to the number of referrals a camper can bring to their session. Credit is applied after camper check-in on first day of camp. Other conditions apply.
What to Bring
The cabins have single twin size bunk beds and bathroom facilities, including a shower. Bring a pillow, sleeping bag or linens (sheets & blanket), and toiletries: soap, towels, toothbrush and toothpaste. Bring adequate underwear, socks, shirts, shorts, and jeans for seven days. A form of foot wear is required at all times. Additional items: sandals, one-piece bathing suit, beach cover-up, pajamas, slippers, sweater or jacket, rainwear, sun screen, insect repellent, Bible, pencil, and stationary (we sell stamps at the camp store).
Optional items: fishing tackle, flash light, camera.
Do not bring: Electronic / video games, any type of music players, magazines, cell phones, paintballs or paintball markers.
Optional Activities
Optional activity fees cover a variety of activities that you may choose for your camper during the week. The following options are available.
- Horseback Rides - $12.00 per ride (limit 4 rides). Horse rides are 45 minutes, including orientation. Campers attending classic sessions receive a free cabin horse ride during their week. If more than one ride is purchased, staff attempt to make each successive ride more advanced than the day before.
- Water Skiing - $12.00 per ride (limit 4 rides). Skiing is about 10 minutes skiing, and riding in the ski boat with the other skiers who are scheduled for the same period. Camp staff will instruct and coach camper in any area of skiing that the camper will choose (i.e. two skis, one ski, knee board, wave board).
- Singles Tubing - $12.00 per ride (limit 4 rides). Singles tubing is riding a ski tube behind the ski boat. Ride is 10 minutes, and riding in the ski boat with the other tubers who are scheduled for the same period. You may mix skiing and tubing. These rides are only available for purchase from the canteen.
- Doubles Tubing - $6.00 per ride per person Tubing is for 10 minutes with another person on the tube, and riding in the ski boat with the other tubers who are scheduled for the same period. These rides are only available for purchase from the canteen.
- Speedball - The Speedball activity features fast paced game play on our Speedball field. Protective face masks and high quality Tippmann brand Paintball Markers are provided to summer campers at no extra charge. Campers need to pay for the paintballs that they will use during their game play. Paintballs are sold at the price of $4.00 per 100 (generally a camper will use 300 paintballs in a half hour period). By signing up as an optional activity your camper will received 300 paintballs for every game you specify.
Optional Purchase
The following items are available for purchase from the Ranch. They can be purchased at the time of registration, during the week, or at the end of camp at check out.
- Session DVD - $15.00 each. The session DVD highlights the week of camp, from games to cabin time. Each DVD will contain 2 music mantage videos, and all the 'cabin cheeers'. These are short skits that each cabin group will perform on camera. This DVD is not available for some off-ground sessions. If possible a photo CD will be made available for these sessions.
- Session Photo - $5.00 each. This is an 8" by 10" photo of all the campers in the session.
- Theme T-Shirt - $11.00 each. This great t-shirt is available to all our campers. It is imprinted with high quality silk screen of the Summer Camp Logo and Theme.
Camp Store
The Canteen, the name of our camp store, sells clothing, water-bottles, stuffed animals, candy, ice-cream, pop and much more. Any time during the registration process you can deposit money into the canteen account. The balance of funds not spent will be returned at the end of the week. Canteen funds can also be used to pay for any of the optional activities listed above, and other optional activities throughout the week. The following activites can also be purchased through the canteen:
- Crafts - A varity of crafts are available to be purchased and made during camper’s free time. These crafts range in price from $.05 and up. Camp staff will assist campers as they work on their craft, and campers can take them home at the end of the week.
- Skiing and Tubing - During their free time campers can sign up for skiing and tubing rides. Skiing and Single Tubing is $12.00, and doubles tubing is $6.00.
- Target Range - A paintball target range is set up during sessions so the campers can try shooting a paintball gun without actually playing paintball. Paintballs cost $2 for 50 paintballs.
- Paintball - Campers can pay for paintball using their camp store account.
Parent Information Package
When we have received your application and Registration Fee, an information packet will be available, consisting of the following:
- Session Information Letter
Additional information will be provided in this letter concerning activities, check-in, and other answers to your questions. - Confidential Form
By providing information on this form, you are giving your camper’s counselor a clearer understanding of his/her needs. - Medical Form
This health history must be completed and signed by a parent/guardian. Your camper cannot attend Phantom Ranch without a signed release. - Optional Expenses Form
This order form is provided should your camper desire optional activities or souvenirs. These include water-skiing, horseback riding, t-shirts, camp photos, and spending money at The Canteen.

Registration Reminders
- All camp fees are due on the first day of the camper's session.
- Medical Form, Confidential Form, and the Optional Expense Form should be mailed to the Ranch at least one week prior to the session. However, should you need additional time, the Medical Form and Confidential Form can be brought on the first day of the camper's session.
- All prescription medications will be given to the Nurse. Over-the-counter medications will not be accepted by the Health Supervisor.
- Please label everything your camper brings to the Ranch.
- Please DON'T arrive earlier than 3:30 p.m. on the Sunday of the session. Our Welcome Staff won't be ready! We want to give your camper a great Phantom Ranch welcome!
