General Questions
Who owns Phantom Ranch?
Since 1954, Phantom Ranch Bible Camp has been owned and operated by the Midwest Bible Church, Chicago, Illinois. It was originally established as a summer Christian camp to help young people achieve the motto, "To Know Christ and to Make Him Known." Then, only a few hundred young people were reached by its summer program. Today, Phantom Ranch is a year-round ministry that will touch the lives of over 5,000 people each year.
Is there a Camp Store?
We call the camp store The Canteen. A full arrangement of candy, pop, sweatshirts, shirts, hats, and souvenirs are available, with a friendly staff to assist you. During our summer sessions each camper has an account so that they do not need to use cash.
