Add-On Activities

You may choose from a variety of Add-On Activities for your camper during their week. Add-On Activities have a fee to cover the costs of these unique opportunities. We highly encourage pre-paying for Add-On Activities to guarantee placement on the schedule. We do not refund Add-On Activities in the event of a camper opting out of their activity or weather cancelations. We will offer alternate activity options for the camper to choose from if they are opting out or due to weather cancellations. The following options are available:

Horseback Trail Ride – $18.00 per ride (limit 2 horsemanship activities per week). Horse Trail Rides are 45 minutes with orientation, through our pastures and nature trails. We provide riding helmets and wranglers who’ll lead campers on the ride. Trail Rides are available for 5th-12th graders who can ride without assistance. A trail ride may be purchased from the camper’s canteen account if there is available time in the schedule.

Horsemanship Introduction – $18.00 per camper (limit 2 horsemanship activities per week). This 45 minute activity is the ideal horsemanship experience for 3rd-4th graders. Our youngest campers get to groom a horse and go on an assisted ride through our riding area, complete with fun obstacles. Some campers are ready for a full trail ride after this introduction per the Horsemanship Director’s approval. A Horsemanship Introduction may be purchased from the camper’s canteen account if there is available time in the schedule.

Water Skiing  $36.00 per lesson (limit 1 speed boat activity per week). Our Water Skiing activity is about 20 minutes long. The experience will be enjoyable for all levels. We enjoy instructing first time skiers and coaching campers in advanced skiing. Water skiing may be purchased from the camper’s canteen account if there is available time in the schedule.

Speed Boat Tube Ride – $20.00 per ride (limit 1 speed boat activity per week). Riders are scheduled in cabin groups. Our aim is for friends to ride in the boat or on the tube together. The Tube Ride is about 10 minutes. We accommodate campers who prefer a gentle ride and those who want to fly off. A tube ride may be purchased from the camper’s canteen account if there is available time in the schedule.

Indoor Rock Climbing – $10.00 all-afternoon pass (limit 2 climbing passes per week). All rock wall staff are ready to instruct and encourage first time climbers as well as seasoned climbers. Climbers are provided with a harness and climbing shoes, but may bring their own harness and climbing shoes to use per inspection of climbing wall staff. A climbing pass allows campers to come and go throughout the day when the Climbing Center is open. A climbing pass may be purchased from the camper’s canteen account.

Paintball – $12.00 per 100 paintballs (limit 400 pre-pay paintballs per week). For elementary aged campers we have a Live-Action Target Rang where campers move from barrier to barrier firing at target. For middle school and high school campers we play team vs team matches which plays similar to a dodgeball match. Protective paintball googles and Tippmann brand paintball markers are provided for all players. All players must use the equipment provided by Phantom Ranch, including googles and paintball markers. Additional paintballs may be purchased from the camper’s canteen account.

Craft Corral Card – $10.00 per card (limit 2 cards per week). A Craft Card allows campers to purchase crafts without having the use money in their canteen account. Crats range from $1-$5 and include Perler beads, wood paintings, friendship and survivor bracelets, leather crafts, and a variety of other fun camp style crafts. Craft Cards are available for elementary and young middle school sessions.

Memories

Campers of all ages love going through photos of when they were at camp and watching the videos of the crazy games. We invest in multiple photographers and videographers to make sure campers remember the laughs, friendships made, and Bible lessons learned. We make accessing these memories easy through SmugMug, a photo and video host website/app. Visit phantomranchbiblecmap.smugmug.com to view and download full quality photos and videos from your child’s session. Access to photos and videos is included in the session’s package.

On our SmugMug page, you’ll find Session Photos, Cabin Photos, Large Group Photos, Cabin Skit Videos, and Session Videos. Our goal is to have all the photos and videos available for viewing by Friday so campers and family members can view them on the ride home or later when gathered around the TV. We do our best to provide photos of every camper. We do not force campers to be in front of the camera for photo or video.

Every camper receives a Summer Theme T-Shirt as a part of our program. We love seeing campers wearing previous years theme t-shirts! These shirts remind campers about the Bible and life lessons we taught from the stage and discussed around picnic tables.
